Meath Care offers a range of Residential care options and services to meet the immediate and changing needs of clients and residents. All Residential care accommodation includes provision of a single room with an attached ensuite bathroom. Residents may provide their own furnishings and memorabilia.
All meals, snacks and beverages are made available with the guidance of a qualified cook, and all residents are provided with daily medical support as required, including the administration of prescribed medication. Special diets are provided after assessment from a dietician.

Levels of Care The following levels of care are available at Meath: 
Low Care Low Care assisted living is available to those persons having had an appropriate ACAT assessment. “Low care” generally means that the resident requires some daily care and support, and this will normally include assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, washing and ironing, mobility and room cleaning.
High Care High Care assisted living is a progression from “Low Care”, and involves the provision of greater care and support services to a resident in response to their changed requirements. Meath provides High Care support at the Dr Mary Surveyor Centre, Kingsley.
Dementia Care Dementia Care (also called Memory Support Care) assisted living is available in a secure section of the facility to those persons having had an appropriate ACAT assessment. “Dementia / Memory Support Care” generally means that the resident requires daily care and support, including assistance with eating, personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, washing and ironing, mobility and room cleaning in a secure area. Residents are offered daily activities and other memory support therapy assistance.
Respite Care
Respite Care – or short stay care – assisted living is available (subject to demand which may vary ) to those persons having had an appropriate ACAT assessment. “Respite Care” will be tailored to individual needs and independence, but generally it provides some daily care and support, and this will normally include assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, washing and ironing, mobility and room cleaning. This service also assists carers to have a break from caring for a loved one and recharge their batteries.
